
Matthew 14:22-33
After he had fed the people, Jesus made the disciples get into a boat and precede him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. After doing so, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When it was evening he was there alone. Meanwhile the boat, already a few miles offshore, was being tossed about by the waves, for the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, he came toward them walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. “It is a ghost,” they said, and they cried out in fear. At once Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” more
| Fr Ruben's Anniversary as Priest
In honor of Father Ruben's Anniversary of his priesthood, we will be celebrating with a mass at 6pm on Wednesday, August 6th. Please join us for a Pot Luck after the mass celebration. We ask all parishioners bring a pot luck dish.
Religious Education Registrations Begin
Religious Education classes begin on Sunday August 31st. Please register your children today! All sacramental preparation students will need to provide copies of baptismal and or First Holy Communion certificates. Confirmation Classes will begin September 7th. Please see the Office of Elementary Catechism, or the Office of Youth Ministry for more details. The fee for regular classes are $20/student and $25 for all sacramental preparation classes.
